Olivie Dvořáková presents her Photographic Fresco in Cairo

Olivie Dvořáková is an artist and photographer whose work moves at the intersection of photography, visual art, and architectural thinking. She has developed a distinctive, highly personal technique that allows photography to be applied directly onto concrete. The result is a specific visual form she refers to as a photographic fresco—a work in which image and material become an inseparable whole.

Under the brand IL MAGNIFICO, Olivie Dvořáková creates both large-format works intended for interiors and exteriors, as well as smaller concrete photographic objects suitable for private collections. Her work connects the rawness and durability of concrete with the subtlety, memory, and narrative strength of photography.

In recent days, we had the opportunity to host Olivie in Cairo. Her visit opened up discussions about the broader application of photographic frescoes in architectural, urban, and real estate development contexts. It became clear that photography embedded directly in concrete carries not only strong artistic value, but also significant business potential.

We are pleased that Olivie Dvořáková’s work attracted the interest of representatives of Al Ismaelia and Culturvator, who recognized its potential for concrete use in the contemporary urban environment. The initial meetings pointed toward further development of collaboration and opened new perspectives for presenting photographic frescoes within Cairo’s cultural and architectural scene.
