The novel Life Is Beautiful by Czech writer Tereza Boučková has recently been published in Arabic translation by Amr Shatury with the Egyptian publishing house Sefsafa. On this occasion, the author herself visited Cairo earlier this year.
The novel Life Is Beautiful has subsequently and quite naturally become the next Book Challenge of the Czech Centre Cairo which will culminate in a meeting of the book club. The Czech Book Club will take place for the eleventh time, and for the first time in the representative hall of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo. Participation in the event requires registration.
The evening will be hosted by poet and artist Omnia Najm (on the photo below) and held primarily in Arabic.
