The opera Don Giovanni by the Austrian composer W. A. Mozart was performed over three evenings at the Library of Alexandria.
During Thursday, May 18, and Saturday, May 20, the performance was played by the orchestra at the Library of Alexandria with Czech bass-baritone Boris Prýgl in the lead role. On Friday, May 19, the ensemble was replaced by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Young Singers. The performance of Don Giovanni was directed by Manuel Schmitt and conducted by Nayer Nagui.
