The day after Tomáš Jamník performed as the main soloist at the season opening concert at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, he took the stage at the Cairo Jazz Club together with his wife Eva Jamník.
In the intimate setting of the Cairo Jazz Club, the duo (Tomáš Jamník – cello, Eva Jamníková – violin) complemented each other seamlessly. Tomáš introduced most of the pieces with humor and added brief commentary. The concert setlist offered a fresh mix of classical music and popular hits, skillfully arranged for two string instruments.
