The twelfth Czech Book Club in Cairo will take readers almost one hundred years back in time. After some time, the club will return to a “classic” — this time Karel Čapek’s drama The Mother.
The play was published in Arabic translation in 2011 by the Czech publishing house Dar Ibn Rushd. The revised translation was prepared by Charif Bahbouh.
The event will be held mainly in Arabic.
